Elyton Hotel, Autograph Collection

The hotel is great. It’s in a great downtown location, the old boutique feel makes you feel right at home with the southern hospitality the team delivers. Darius and Terrell, the valets, were great. I don’t usually mention valets, but they were so personable and professional that i had to give them a shout out!

A very nice hotel in the heart of downtown Birmingham. This was our first time here. It’s in a great location near some nice restaurants. We stayed during the Christmas holiday, so it was quite quiet. The front desk staff is very personable and helpful. They were always happy to see us and greeted us each time. We stayed in a suite on the 17th floor. It overlooked downtown. The rooms are very nice. The elevators are a bit rickety, but that makes sense because it’s such an old building. We would come back due to the hospitable staff.

Our stay at the Elyton Hotel was fantastic! The customer service was amazing — Khadijah was incredibly kind, attentive, and so informative, making our visit seamless and enjoyable. The room had a great view; you could hear cars, but honestly, it added to the city experience. The bed was very comfortable. While there were no microwaves in the room or for guest use, the location more than made up for it — literally everything was within walking distance, and taking an Uber to other spots was always under $10. We had such a great stay and can’t wait to return!

The Elyton was an exceptional experience from the first moment. On arriving we were met by the valet who walked us through the app available, which made managing the need for pur vehicle seamless and easy. The front desk was informative, polite and readily accommodated our late checkout request. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a charm only seen in early 20th century architecture. The room was thoughtfully laid out and spacious with great views. We did not get to experience the dining, but there are two seemingly fantastic options, including a rooftop bar (which has a cover that is waived for guests). Despite the age of the building, it has been updated to seamlessly integrate the history with modern amenities. I cannot express enough gratitude for the front desk staff, both at check-in, and overnight, who were both working on a holiday. Hats off to this location.

I’m from Birmingham but had never stayed at The Elyton until now — and WOW. The rooms were spotless, the staff was unbelievably friendly, and the service from check-in to checkout was truly top tier. The rooftop was such a vibe… perfect energy, great views, and the whole atmosphere made the stay even better. Definitely a 10/10 experience. I’ll absolutely be back!

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They made sure I had a great visit. Valets were also fast and friendly. Kudos to Melissa for being so nice.

The shower/ toilet/ sink area is just as big as the bed / sleeping area and I'm quite happy with that. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and quiet. So far, I'm enjoying my stay here.

Darius with valet was courtesy and consistent with keeping me informed. He assured me that he would take care of my vehicle. The valet team even adjust the heat to have the vehicle warming upon my pickup.
